The Finest Half Bezel is the premium-tier version of a half bezel, pairing a 3.5mm flat comfort-fit band with a metal frame that wraps two opposing sides of the diamond. It differs from the standard half bezel in the band. The flat, flush-fit, stackable Finest shape is drawn from GOODSTONE’s signature wedding band, so the setting stacks as a matched pair.
Both work together. The flat 3.5mm comfort-fit band gives the ring its premium base, and the build carries through in how the half-bezel frame and band are finished to rest flush against a wedding ring. The half bezel supplies the secure frame, and the Finest tier supplies the considered flat band.
The flat comfort-fit band gives the half-bezel ring a steadier, more grounded profile than a rounded shank, since the flat outer surface stays in place without rolling on the finger. The rounded inside stays smooth against the skin. Paired with the low frame, the whole ring stays close to the hand.
A half-bezel frame holds the diamond securely, with two metal walls gripping the opposing sides, though a full bezel provides a little more coverage by surrounding the entire girdle. On the Finest Half Bezel, those two walls keep the stone stable for daily wear as long as you avoid hard knocks.
The low metal frame covers the sides most likely to catch, so the Finest Half Bezel suits an active, everyday lifestyle, while the flat 3.5mm band stays smooth against hands and clothing. The low, snag-resistant profile handles daily contact better than raised prongs.
The half-bezel frame shields two opposing edges of the diamond with a metal wall, so those sides gain solid protection against knocks. The other two edges stay open, with less shielding than a full bezel gives. A diamond stays hard enough that everyday contact rarely harms it.

Two metal walls can make the diamond look slightly larger by blending into the stone’s edges and extending its outline on two sides. The effect remains gentle because the other two sides remain open, revealing the true shape. On those open sides, the diamond’s own outline stays visible, which keeps the effect in check.
With a flat 3.5mm band, the Finest Half Bezel is built to stack cleanly and hold flush, since that band lets a straight wedding band rest flat against it. The low frame keeps the profile close to the finger, so nothing lifts the wedding band away. This stackable design comes straight from the Finest tier.
The two wrapped sides of the frame can hold a little residue, so those are the spots to rinse well. A soft brush with warm, mildly soapy water reaches the open edges easily, and the smooth metal walls have fewer tight corners than prongs do, where grime gathers, so the Finest Half Bezel rinses clean with little effort.
Setting the half-bezel frame and finishing the premium band both add labor, so the Finest Half Bezel usually costs a little more than a plain half bezel or a plain solitaire. That added cost stays modest next to the price of the center diamond you choose.
